The Senior Jazz Band at Waverley Christian College is a ‘select-entry’ ensemble with students auditioning for their position in the band in Term 4 of the previous year. The band rehearses twice a week and attendance at all rehearsals is expected.
The band travels to the Mount Gambier ‘Generations in Jazz’ weekend every year in May and perform at various other competitions and events throughout the year.
